About Us
Hello, my name is Phill Hellewell (if I can get Marlene or Nicki in front of the camera I’ll update the mugshot!) and with the help of my wife and daughter we make a variety of hand made items for the home or as gifts.
This is primarily a hobby for us all and I think that our prices reflect that.
We live on Westray, one of the Northern Isles of Orkney where wind and rain blows! Everything else about Westray amply compensates for the weather though. The scenery is beautiful, the seas although cold are crystal clear. In summer we have more or less endless days.
We moved to Westray 21 years ago and were immediately made very welcome as I think everyone is. Westray is know as the “Queen o the Isles” and is noted for how friendly everyone is (everyone waves at passers by, it just the done thing).
