Shed completed

The shed is almost completed now. The new roof is on, and a new front wall and door have been constructed. We even managed to incorporate a stained glass window we had lying around.

There is still some remedial work to complete on the floor and inside wall but the shed is now usable.

This turned out to be a much bigger job than anticipated with the demolition work and clear-up taking nearly a week on their own. Once that was done the roof went on fairly quickly.

I’ve already started moving less used items and materials (paint, gardening tools etc) out of the garden room and workshop, and into the shed. I’m gaining loads of shelf space in my workshop!

Of course, if one has a shed then one’s stock of “rubbish” just grows to fit the shed. I’ll try to avoid this but it is one of those facts of life!
