Time for a change of theme and something a bit bigger (project wise). I’ve made a start on a Star Wars diorama.
The diorama will be based on the scene where Yoda is lifting Lukes spacecraft out of the swamp. I have titled the diorama “Do or Do Not” after Yoda’s response to Luke saying he will try to lift the craft out of the swamp.
I imagine this project will take w little while so I will update progress over a series of posts.
So far I have made back/case using my laser and cut the basic shape of the ground. I have also printed the spacecraft and the characters. The characters have not come out a nicely as i might have liked as they are very small for an FDM printer at 5mm for Yoda and 25mm tall for Luke, but I think they will be okay once they’re in the setting.
I’m just in the process of printing a few tree trunks for the forest that will form the background for the diorama.
